Paddle Safer Award - Lochore - Saturday 30th August (2pm to 5pm)

Course time is 2pm to 5pm, on Saturday 30th August, either kayak or paddleboard. Must book in advance.

Paddle UK's (formerly British Canoe Union) Paddle Safer award is a practical course, giving you top tips and considerations to support you to paddle safer.  Over 3 hours you will learn how to choose appropriate equipment.  You will also develop an understanding of the factors which could affect your paddling, such as the environment.  It will highlight what to expect and look out for when planning paddles and trips.  You will practice a range of rescue techniques, and learn how to support each other and explore possible solutions to common mishaps.

No previous experience needed to do this award.

Cost is £90 each - all equipment (including wetsuit if required) provided, instruction and certificate.  £75 each with own equipment, instruction and certificate.
