Paddle Discover Award - Lochore - Saturday 21st September (1pm to 4pm)

Session time is 1pm to 4pm.  Paddle Discover Award at Lochore,Fife. Cost is £90 each for 3 hours instruction, assessment and certificate, using sit-on kayak from Och Aye Canoe.  If you wish to do this award and assessment using your own kayak, canoe or paddleboard the cost is £70, including certification. 

Should have completed the Paddle Start Award or be able to paddle basic strokes, such as basic turning and going forward.  The British Canoe Union Paddle Discover Award builds on the skills and knowledge gained in the Paddle Start award.  The program is designed for individuals who want to explore and develop their paddling skills further and covers a range of topics, including navigation, planning and safety.  We will also look at rescue techniques and carrying out a short journey.

The Paddle Discover award is recognised nationally and internationally and is a useful credential for those who wish to pursue further training or participate in organised paddling events.
